BABYLON MAN CHARGED WITH ILLEGAL WEAPONS AND DRUG POSESSION.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a home in Wyandanch Avenue in Suffolk County New York was entered and searched as part of an investigation into a Babylon Village resident. A Babylon man, was arrested  on nine counts of illegal weapons possession and drug possession.  The service unit entered the home at 12:45 a.m., according to First Precinct, after a judge granted a probable cause search warrant. The police found nine decks of heroin, Xanax, marijuana, hypodermic needles, an illegally owned .380-caliber handgun, and other weapons including a bludgeon and slingshot.  The police were given information from residence in the community. The residential community was concerned about possible illegal and dangerous activity in the property in question.
